The mystery here is the title of the painting.  This tree is located on a road leading to Utah Lake.  As I was in the area photographing and doing oil color studies, a fellow whizzed by on his motorbike followed quickly by another.  As I came around the tree the first man had crashed and the second was attending to him and waved me by.  I always wondered the final outdome.
