I paint Mount Timpanogos a lot, and this I another painting of that mountain that I know so well. This angle is from Southwest Utah County, and it’s the
best view if one wants to see the full length of Timpanogos which runs mostly east to west with a slight upward tilt to the northwest. One of the
geological features of the mountain is explained in Indian mythology which describes the top of the mountain as being an Indian maiden in recline,
her head to the east and feet to the west. You can vaguely see from this painting the representation that the Indians use to describe this maiden’s features.
Price includes a gold frame.
