This painting of Monument Valley began in an interesting way. I was asked by a gallery if I could very quickly paint a very large picture for them for
a client. Of course I told them that I could. But then I began to think, I’ve never really painted one that large. So, as an experiment to prove to myself that I could paint a large painting in a timely way, I decided to paint this one of Monument Valley. It took a week to paint and I was very pleased with the result. I love the way the road winds directly into the painting and then
into the Valley itself. Subsequently, I painted several other large paintings with similar results.
Price includes a black frame.
